FINN (16) & IMOGEN (15) GILFEDDER-COONEY formed The Klezmer Kids in 2002. In 2003 they changed the name to THE URCHINS.
Since then they have performed twice at the Woodford folk Festival and at numerous other festivals including Opera at the Rock, Mayor's Ball, Mayor's Carols By Candlelight, Opening of the Roma St Parklands, Woodlands Art Show, Launch of the Rivercity Development. Finn on Viola and Imogen on Violin are joined by various members including Tim Scott Cello - or - Nils Hobiger Cello or Caleb Donovan on Bass. They can be found every week-end at one of the various Brisbane busking haunts eg Riverside Markets, West End Markets, City Mall etc. Both Finn & Imogen are members of the Qld Youth Symphony and are busking to raise money for the 2008 QYS European Tour. Finn has recently been accepted into the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University's full-time Certificate Course leading into the Bachelor of Music Performance programme. Finn & Imogen are also founding members of THE KLASSIX STRING TRIO/QUARTET, and THE CYMBELINE CONSORT.
