In my early years I traveled extensively doing concerts as a solo performer, in duos and as lead singer for several bands throughout the late 1960's,'70s and 80's. During my Folk-hippie music years, I shared the stage with music legends like BO DIDDLEY, Hoyt Axton, Barry McGuire, Seals & Crofts - usually as the "Opening Act". In the early '70s I was with MARANATHA! MUSIC and toured as a soloist and also with my band, FAITHFLIGHT. I also was one half of a duo for some time called "MEREDITH & HERSHEY". All through those years I did concerts throughout the U.S. Many times with other CCM artists: KEITH GREEN, RANDY STONEHILL, NOEL PAUL STOOKEY, DANIEL AMOS, SWEET COMFORT BAND, THE WAY, MUSTARD SEED FAITH, KAREN LAFFERTY, COUNTRY FAITH, ERIC NELSON, THE ARCHERS, SETH, MALCOLM WILD, ASLAN...I can't remember them all....In 1978 I traveled throughout England, Scotland & Wales with BARRY McGUIRE and a large cast, playing a leading role as "Peter's Wife" in the Broadway-type Musical called "THE WITNESS". We took the show to Australia & New Zealand the following year. (Shania Twain's current guitarist/backup vocalist, RANDALL WALLER was in that '79 show with me...he was just a KID! He played the part of one of the "Sons of Thunder" along with Australian music artist Chris Foley and Randall also shared the role of "Judas" with recording artist, Tim Lynk. When I returned from that tour, I continued as a solo artist doing concerts throughout the U.S. at colleges, churches, festivals, you name it.....
In addition, I have worked as a professional Background Vocalist in many, many recording studios - first in L.A. & Orange Counties, California, then later in Nashville,TN. Presently I have the honor of working as a BGvocalist and production assistant for "HOLE IN THE SKY MUSIC PRODUCTIONS" and "WATERCRESS RECORDING STUDIO" with the infamous "Mr. Wizard" - Producer/Engineer JONATHAN DAVID BROWN (he produced PETRA, FAREWELL JUNE, TWILA PARIS, STEVE ARCHER, GLEN CAMPBELL, etc., etc., and most of the early MARANATHA! MUSIC BANDS....just look on the back of your old CCM records and you'll find him there as either the producer, engineer, keyboardist or songwriter...)
Jonathan produced/engineered,mixed and mastered (!!) MY FIRST OFFICIAL SOLO CD in 1999, "SECRET PLACE". It was released in 2000. It was a LOOOOONG time in coming! Although I've sung on MANY other records, I've never done my own tunes until this CD! If you want one, write me. There is another website selling them, but you can get one directly from me at a lower price....

Randall and I were on tour together in 1979 throughout Australia and N.Zealand.He and I played leading roles in a Musical Production called,"THE WITNESS". He was just a KID on that tour when we met! LOOK AT HIM GO! RANDALL is playing LEAD GUITAR and singing with SHANIA.He has been in her band for some years now.He is Australia's "Phil Keaggy" on guitar. (I've never really been a Shania fan, but I LOVE Randall and his amazing skill on guitar) I am so proud of him! HE IS SUCH AN INSPIRATION TO MY GUITAR STUDENTS!
