Greetings everyone! Welcome to The HighLife Band’s official myspace page and thanks for stopping by! The band would like to thank all their family, friends, and fans for all their love and support.
The HighLife Band plays a mixture of rock and roll, blues, outlaw country, and southern rock. We play a number of cover tunes, as well as originals.
We are available to play different types of venues, including but not limited to: honkytonks, bars, private parties, jam sessions, festivals, church, weddings, and pretty much anything you can think of.
Some of our greatest honors have been hosting a local radio program in Lincolnton, North Carolina and being considered for a record contract by Capitol Records, in Studio City, California. We love playing music and enjoying sharing it with everyone!

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.

The HighLife Band, Thanks for visiting our MySpace site and being our friend. We hope that all is well in your life. Black Angel released our third album in two years on Earth Day April 22, 2009. It is called "O' San Francisco". We asked Tiffany Lowe, granddaughter of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash (and daughter of country singer, Carlene Carter, and British rocker, Nick Lowe) to sing on the album. The top picture below is of Tiffany in the studio recording with us. The album is dedicated to a close associate of Black Angel who recently died who was a big Johnny Cash fan. We also have former Johnny Cash drummer, Danny Darling, playing on the album. We hope to be touring soon and we may be playing shows with former Black Angel singer, Audrey (Mrs. Ike) Turner. The bottom picture is of Black Angel playing at The Roxy in Los Angeles a few years ago with (left to right): Tomeka Haywood; me; Audrey Turner; and Ronnie Turner (son of Ike and Tina Turner on bass).
