Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, tout un univers. Un mythe s'est créé autour de celui qui pose des mots sur le ressenti intime de son public et se transmet désormais de génération en génération, fait rarissime dans le paysage artistique francophone.
Depuis plus de trente ans, vagabond solitaire et discret, HFT arpente sans relâche les salles de concert, y distille sa poésie-rock teintée de surréalisme, douloureuse et désespérée, riche en métaphores et suggestions oniriques.
De ses débuts délirants sur ses trois premiers albums (notamment "La fille du coupeur de joints" ou "Alligators 427") à son dernier disque, "Scandale mélancolique", en passant par ses pérégrinations américaines, son escapade vers des sonorités électros ou son album phare "Soleil cherche futur", l'homme a influencé son époque et poursuit sa route avec intransigeance, loin des pressions du show-biz. La poésie d'Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine est vénéneuse, mélancolique, folle, parfois malsaine mais toujours intense, lié à sa vie personnelle.
Un artiste, un vrai, pour qui chaque album est une expérience unique.

Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine means a whole universe.
A myth created around the one who puts down words on the the intimate feelings of his public , passing from generation to generation, rarely done, from now on, in the French artistic landscape.
For more than 30 years, restless, the rebellious and discreet hero paces concert halls, distillating his tinted of surrealism painful and desperate poetical rock that is rich in metaphoric and dreamy suggestions.
Since his wild debut with the first albums ( particularly "The daughter of the hewer of joints" or "Alligators 427" ) to his last LP, "Melancholic Scandal", via his American wanderings, his detours through electro tones or his reference album "Sun searches future", the man has influenced his times and keeps uncompromising going his own track, away from the showbiz pressure.
HFT's poetry is venomous, sad, crazy, unhealthy sometimes but always intense, linked to his personal life.

Si è creato un mito intorno a colui che posa le parole sull’ essenza intima del suo pubblico e che ormai si trasmette di generazione in generazione, fatto rarissimo nel panorama artistico francofono. Da più di trenta anni, vagabondo solitario e discreto, HFT calca senza pause le sale di concerto, vi distilla la sua poesia-rock colorata di surrealismo, dolorosa e disperata, ricca di metafore e suggestioni oniriche. Dal suo debutto delirante nei suoi tre primi albums (vedi “La ragazza del tagliatore di canne” o “Alligatori 427”) al suo ultimo disco, “Scandalo malinconico”, passando attraverso le sue peregrinazioni americane, le sue fughe verso delle sonorità elettroniche o il suo album faro “Sole che cerca futuro”, l’uomo ha influenzato la sua epoca e persegue la sua strada con intransigenza, lontano dalle pressioni dello show-biz. Ein Mythus hat sich um denjenigen geschaffen, der Wörter auf gespürt Intimus seines Publikums stellt und Generation in der Generation, der sehr seltenen Tatsache in der französischsprachigen künstlerischen Landschaft von jetzt an übertragen wird. Seit mehr als dreißig Jahren vermißt einsamer und diskreter Landstreicher, HFT pausenlos die Konzertsäle, destilliert dort seine mit dem Surrealismus getönte Poesie-Rock, die schmerzhaft und zur Verzweiflung gebracht ist, an den Metaphern und Traumvorschlägen reich ist. Seiner wahnsinnigen Debüts auf seinen drei ersten Alben (besonders "Das Mädchen des Zuschneiders von Gelenken" oder "Alligatoren 427") in seiner letzten Schallplatte, "dem melancholischen Skandal", vorbei an seinen amerikanischen Wanderungen, seiner Eskapade zu den elektronische Klangfarben oder sein Album Scheinwerfer "sucht die Sonne Zukunft", hat der Mann seine Epoche beeinflußt und verfolgt seinen Weg mit Unnachgiebigkeit, weit weg von den Drücken des Showbusineß. Die Poesie von Thiéfaine ist giftig, melancholisch, verrückt, manchmal ungesund aber immer stark, ist mit seinem persönlichen Leben verbunden.
Ein Künstler, eine Wahrheit, für wen jedes Album eine einzige Erfahrung ist.
