About me: Hubris's goal as a company is to bring new plays to light with a focus on contemporary authors. Our mission is not to perform the big musicals of West Side Story and Grease. While both good shows in their own respect, they are iconicly mainstream and can be seen at most other theaters. Our purpose is to perform groundbreaking plays that few people have noticed to create something entirely new and organic.
Who I'd like to meet: Thespis and the Muses of Theatre.

I went and saw 'The Pillowman' tonight and thought it was amazing. I've seen it a few other times with other companys but this one was brilliant! I loved the atmosphere and the concept of the set. Wonderful job by all the actors; great devotion and commitment.
I would like to say to EVERYONE on EVERY capacity of this show, that it is one of the best pieces of art I have ever seen. I do NOT give out compliments like this loosely. I am very PROUD of all of you for taking on this piece, bringing it to OTOWN and NOT selling out with other shows that likely would have made you more money to kick off your company debut. Everyone involved was FAB! I was blown away by the writing, production values, direction and acting! I may be back tomorrow. I have spread the word to many theatre folks.
On a personal level-this is my kind of theatre. This is how I want to write someday. CONGATS! Give an extra kiss to Gina...she is the bomb :)
