..Music, Ancient History, Politics & Current Affairs, Philosophy, Art, Architecture, Design, Religion & Theology, Mapping, Sciences & Technology, Feminism, Animal Rights, Travel, Pole Dancing/Pole Fitness
Music
..Black Metal, Doom Metal,Heavy Metal, Indie, Punk, House, Garage, Dark Techno, Disco, Ambient, Britpop, older British Music, Early Music, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Funk, Jazz. Various artists from 50s through to current day. However 99% of post-2000 music absolutely blows camel testes. Yes, really.
Movies
.. Documentaries, Arthouse/Indie-Films (*love* Hal Hartley), Australian Films, chickflicks (yes, really), Sci-Fi, Nature Films, too many to list. NOT stupid sports BS, not brainless macho car flicks designed for the consumer braindead public.
Television
.. I watch very little, but 7.30 report, 4 Corners, ABC News. Heroes, Dexter, The West Wing, occasionally Big Brother & primetime mainstream garbage depending on how little I wish to be mentally stimulated.
Books
..Allain de Botton, Ann Rice, Justine Ettler (The River Ophelia rules!), Don Watson (his Paul Keating biography is incredible), Valerio Massimo Manfredi, Nikki Gemmell (The Bride Stripped Bare is brilliant), Graham Hancock, Robert Burvall, JRR Tolkien... Yep, I love to read.
Heroes
..Michael Jordan, the most positive and resilient bastard on this planet. When I'm feeling down, reading a book of his makes me want to fight against negativity.
.. Paul Keating, Prince, Sheila E, Bruce Dickinson, Varg Vikernes, Ivar Bjornson, Grutle Kjellson, Ihsahn, Evan Dando, Damon Albarn, Hillary Clinton and Noel Gallagher.
