Formed in January 2007, Jordan Grant, Peter Butler, and Keith McPherson joined forces and created the monster that is Hudson. A straight ahead, old school, plain and simple, power rock trio. The kind of band that has their first joining of instruments, plays the first few bars of whatever tune was mentioned, and has to stop playing immediately because that old cliched moment arises, when you just can't play anymore because everyone's grinning from ear to ear. It just felt right.
Mashing together rock, blues, and old school gritty southern country rock, Hudson has created a sound very unique yet very familiar at the same time. Their sound is much like many of their influences including, Foghat, Humble Pie, and just about anyone that has been playing anything close to rock and roll in the last fifty years or so.
Hudson is quickly becoming the band to see. So come on out and join us, and help keep the rock and roll spirit alive.
Hey guys! Great to see all of you again Friday and thanks very much for the invitation to share a stage. Now getting a bootleg of the live set will make me complete. Throw it my way! Peter - MBR
I'll apologize now for the mass Comment... but the good news is I don't know one darn person that got a $500 Macy's gift card.
In case you missed our Mod Club show last month, we thought we'd give you the heads up that we're playing this upcoming Saturday (November 17th) at Neutral Lounge on College St. as part of DJ Lawrence's Kensington Station night. Show time is 10:30 PM sharp.
Hey guys! Please let us know when you get out to the west coast. Gordie Johnson said it best, "There is no alternative to rock 'n' roll!" In the meantime, perhaps you could help us out. We have an amazing opportunity to get distribution through Ryko/Warner all across the U.S.! We need to be on CD Baby's top sellers list this month to qualify. Please help us out by clicking this link and buying a CD online. Spread the word! Thank you for your support.
Hey Guys, seems like the Fulcrum is the place to be on Tuesday! Unfortunately I can't make it, but I will leave my window open ... I'm willing to bet I'll be able to hear the sweet mayhem from here! Go Hudson! Peter
