There are plenty of websites that you can visit, for whatever the reasons are. "Hudson and the I.R.S." thank you for choosing this one. Who, you may ask is "Hudson and the I.R. S."? I will explain who the I.R.S. is first. And it is not that other group of folks you may have heard of, who have the same initials. This is about the real deal, the new I.R.S. known as the Invisible Rhythm Section. To understand who and what the I.R. S. is about, I will answer three frequently asked questions about the Invisible Rhythm Section. WHAT DOES THE I.R.S. DO?: It provides the best in background and rhythm section music for me to play along with. This music consists of the Blues, Jazz, Salsa and Rhythm and Blues. WHERE DOES THE MUSIC COME FROM?: The music, which is located in my iPod, is connected to the mixing board and PA system. WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE I.R.S.?: Not to come after you for what you owe us, but to come after you for what we owe you — good music and a good time. Now that you know who the I.R.S. is, let me tell you who I am. My name is Hudson Howard and I am a flutist (flute and alto flute). Along with musical support from the I.R.S., we will bring you the best in different styles and genres of music. My experiences range from performing on television (Showtime, at the Apollo amateur hour, CTV local access and Connecticut Style) to playing jazz (Ben Tucker Trio, former bassist for Tony Bennett, Herbie Mann and Lena Horne) and Salsa (Egardo Cintron Latin Band). I have also recorded two independently produced CDs titled "Better With Time" and the self titled, "Hudson" (available at www.CDBaby.com). So, enjoy the music on this website. And whether you need music for a festival, party, club, parade or any type of musical situation, remember "Hudson and the I.R.S.". Hudson and the I.R.S. will now be called "Hudson and the I.R.S. + Grace". She is the newest addition to our musical family (including myself and the I.R.S.). Her repertoire ranges from Jazz Standards to popular tunes. Grace has performed with Connecticut jazz legend Eddie Buster and recorded songs on my self-titled CD, "Hudson". We are glad to have Grace, and we know you'll enjoy her as much as we do.
