"dream thrash".............Alison Clancy is a dancer who spirals in from a hazy sky. She creates genre bending music, driven by voice, piano and guitar, and developed through collaboration with stellar guest musicians: primarily drumer/singer/guitarist Molly Allis, and cellists Chris Lancaster and Luke Janela. The results are eclectic collages of folk, punk, pop, and blues that have been described as "acoustic trip-hop " and "pan sexual acid pop". Live performances mesh music with visual imagery and dance to pull you farther into waking dreams.

My attempts to create an Open at the Mama Buzz Cafe have failed. The will be no open mic at the Mama Buzz cafe. The "Every Second Sunday" open mic has been double booked for the second month in a row. It is clear I'm not suited to be the host of an open mic. Thank you all for your interest and support. My sincerest apologies to all musicians poets that hoped and even planned for this open mic.
so. we are soooo sorry but we cant make it to your show!! due to some very unpredictable circumstances we are stuck in our houses (swine flu and grounded). but we will see you! gonna be in portland soon. maybe well see you there?
