If I were to sum myself up in three words I’d say – passionate (about love, life, career), driven (to get the most out of everything) and friendly.
I’m 27, and live in London, having opened a new office in Covent Garden for my PR Company, Huge PR.
My attitude to life is what I feel separates me from most – I strive to get the most out of being here, after all – life’s no dress rehearsal, hey?
When I started my own business at 23, many sceptics turned their noses up and there was a real air of ‘who is this young girl, what does she know’? But my passion to grow, learn and succeed in what I set out to do has been worth it.
My advice to anyone who has the idea to go it alone would be to try it. As long as you do your research, go in with your eyes open, remain focused and driven – you’ll do it. It takes leap of faith, but stay with it. Try to be positive about your pitfalls, there will be some! I don’t really see mistakes as mistakes but as important lessons, as long as you learn from them – so go for it.
