Certificate Wall:
I've been trained how to supervise the cleaning and care of sea otters and birds after an oil spill.
I was awarded this tongue-in-cheek certificate after being taught -- by phone -- how to give a gynecological exam to a pregnant wild sea lion patient during an emergency. It was a scene right from "MASH," as I gave a humorous and descriptive narrative while performing the exam.
Some of my digital imaging creations were used in presidential briefing, including the one that I received this award for.
The award that I received from "The Pet Place" television show for my work with and writings about marine mammal conservation, rescue and rehabilitation.
