Melissa-Anne is a New York City based performance artist specializing in the artistry of Hula-Hoops.
Raised in an itty bitty town just outside New York, Melissa came from a large family with a vast musical background which played a huge roll in her childhood. While growing up she studied jazz/tap dancing, then later at age eighteen moved to New York City where she began incorporating her hula hooping skills into live performances. She has resided in Brooklyn for 10 years now, performing regularly at various parties, vaudeville, sideshow, circus, and, variety shows. Her live acts consist of her own choreography and music combined with dazzling hula hoop tricks and stances that are not only fascinating but inspirational as well!

NEW POSTED!! Our rock and roll weekender will be July 16, 17 and 18th 2010! The 16th and 17th will take place at the Warsaw in Williamsburg Brooklyn, the 18th will be at another venue that will be announced shortly.
We have killer bands and wild top DJs coming to play from world wide. The space can fit up to 1000 people with lots of room for a wild and crazy dance party!
This will be the first rockabilly, rock and roll weekender ever in NYC. You don’t want to miss it!

Join us this coming Friday 30 October when Dig Deeper brings the four surviving members of Chicago soul group the Green Berets for their first NYC show ever, and first show anywhere in nearly 20 years, this time backed by the Divine Soul Rhythm Band, who will also be opening the night backing the sassy Sweet Divines. As always, DJ Honky and Mr. Robinson spin soul and funk 45s for the dancefloor before and after until 4am.
