So, I just wanted you guys to know that, while I love checking out the amazing tats each artist presents in their album ... I would love to see Ed have an album of at least some of his piercing work.  I was so impressed by his professional attitude and overall laid back presence while he did the best piercing work I've had yet.  I plug Hula Moon on a regular basis in part because of Ed and I will be back (multiple times).  ; )

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)

"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff

  • SCAPEGOAT (in the studi…

Spreading the love, wanted to tell you that we got some new songs and a new lay out. We also wanted to tell you why our drummer has so much junk in his trunk and it is called "THE TITAN".
So here it is the recipe for a sandwich that I would rename "The Colostomizer"

    - Royer

    The Titan

    Ingredients
-1 whole loaf of Italian Bread
-2 boxes of Breaded Chicken Fingers
-2 Boxes of Fried Mozzarella Sticks
    -1 Bag of Waffle Fries
    -1 Pack of Provolone Cheese
    -A Shit Ton of Mayo
    -Salt
    -Pepper
    -Oregano
    -Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning

    Optional Topping
    -Lettuce
    -Tomato
-Marinara Sauce (Brings out the flavor of the Mozzarella sticks) OR A1 sauce (gives a zesty flavor over all)

    Preparation
Typically the mozzarella sticks will take shorter time to cook than the chicken strips or waffle fries, so cook the mozzelrella sticks last.

Cook both the waffle fries and chicken fingers but it is important to sprinkle Tony's Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning before putting into the oven.

Once the chicken fingers and now seasoned waffle fries are nearing preferred crispness, begin to cook the mozzarella sticks (these take about 6-7 mins). While cooking the Mozzerella sticks, cut the Italian loaf horizontally into 2 parts. IMPORTANT!!! LIGHTLY TOAST THE BREAD!!! When the bread is nearing desired toastiness, place the entire pack of provolone cheese on one side so that the cheese becomes melted. Place the chicken fingers on first, followed by the mozzelrella sticks, then seasoned waffle fries.

Add a shit ton of mayo in order to not have a "dry" tasting sandwich. Or add Marinara sauce or A1 for a zesty balance. Add salt, pepper, and oregano for more flavor.

Add other topping, I prefer lettace and tomato.

Enjoy the best fucking sandwich EVER!!!

    Serves 3-4

About me:

Photobucket ..Hula Moon Tattoo in Pensacola, Florida was founded in the year of the new millinium and we are still full speed ahead. We have seen faces new and old but our commitment to doing quality tattooing at Hula Moon Tattoo in sunny Pensacola, Florida has remained the same. Hula Moon Tattoo was started out of neccesity because of the lack of respect and integrity that was missing in the tattoo industry in Pensacola. We wanted to create an experience for the client that would be completly honest and artisic. We have adhered to the traditions of the past while emcompassing the technology of tomorrow and wanted to leave behind the greed and hustle that often surrounds street shops in Pensacola, Florida. We have paved new ground by becoming a studio where the art always comes first. Permanantly marking your body is the most serious of commitments and should be done by the best. We pride ourselves on doing just that and will be here for you. We could go on all day about what we feel is wrong in the industry of tattooing, but judge for yourself and come to Hula Moon Tattoo in Pensacola, Florida and see first hand what we are doing right!

Who I'd like to meet:

We lost a close friend and mentor, Bob Montagna, and he will be forever in our hearts. If you ever met Bob you would know that he was a great person and he did so much for the world of tattooing. He taught us so much and we will miss his much needed guidance. We love you Bob. Rest in peace.
