Helping people recover from drugs and alcohol,(Recovery is tough, but with God's help, it gets better every day. Trust me, I KNOW what I'm talking about. Been there, done that), my sons various activities,(He's becoming quite the little ballplayer!And LOVES to swim and fish!), doing what I can at my Church (First Baptist of Moberly), books,good movies,bad movies, Godzilla movies,
Star Trek and Star Wars movies, and yes, even "bad" movies.(So bad they're good, if ya knowhatImean) (see below) Collecting and enjoying those movies,too!(We've got MOVIE SIGN!)Mystery Science Theater 3000 never ceases to amuse me on so many levels.

I grew up on mostly Marvel and some DC comics. (Especially Spider-Man,Daredevil, Iron Man,The Avengers,The FF, and The HULK. There were more titles than that, but brevity prevents my listing them all here) I don't dabble in comics as much anymore($$$), but those books and the people who made them meant a lot to me growing up. Other kids knew baseball stats. Me, I could tell ya who wrote and drew what...names like Kirby, Romita, Steranko, and yes, STAN LEE meant more to me than who batted what.
I love music, tho I can barely play any instruments...I got rhythm, but no real discipline.I do love to LISTEN to all kinds,tho.I have several favorites.
I love to laugh, especially with my friends and family.Humor is very important, and neccesary. I like all kinds of animals, and appreciate God's gift of the animals to us (except maybe mosquitos).
My wifes Lasagna is always a high point in my life!It was one of the ways she "got me"...
I strive to do God's will, but I'm just a guy trying to make it from Monday to Tuesday to every day, thankful for God's grace and blessings!

I used to like to read Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine, (It was the monster movie fan's bible. Thank you forrest J. Ackerman!) old Creepy,Eerie, and Vampirella magazines, too. I used to love to read MAD Magazine, and sometimes CRACKED. Alfred E. Neuman and Sylvester Smythe were poster boys back in the 60's & 70's for good fun And now, some POETRY...
