About Jo

Quirky. Quietly assertive. Kind. Happy. Smiley. Silly. Funny. All things other people have said I am. I would add to that that I'll probably seem slightly strange to those who don't know me well. I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I love having a laugh, and don't mind making myself look stupid to do so. I'm a very loyal and trustworthy person. I can be stubborn. Once I have an opinion on something, you can try, but you won't change it. I have my creative moments; I like to write, make hand made cards, and jewellery. I love to read, and I'm mildly obsessed with the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. I love music, and will listen to just about anything - on my iPod, you will currently find pop, rock, punk rock, RnB, country, 90s, 80s, 60s, and more. I'm leaning more towards pop these days. I go through phases; currently, it's reading, previously it was music - a lot of gigs, supporting bands and stuff. I have quite a close family, and my guys and gals are truely amazing. I have trust issues, and I can hold grudges. But I'm generally pretty friendly. I assume I'm good at giving advice, or at least listening, as a lot of people come to me for help. I love going to pubs; make mine a vodka and bitter lemon. I'm going through some changes lately, in lots of ways, and it's all pretty good. I'm happy. Come talk to me :)

I am going to just say lots of random things here, be prepared. You should read Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. Change is a good things. Spring cleaning your life is healthy; as you cut off the dead parts on flowers to keep them healthy, so should you get rid of anything that makes you unhappy. Forests are relaxing. As are swings. I have strong morals. Green goes nicely with my hair. Sugar doughnuts from Greggs are lovely. I love going to the theatre. I love taking photos of times with friends; memories. It is my aim in life to marry Jackson Rathbone - or at least meet him. He is beautiful. Life is for living, don't let crap hold you back. Just smile, walk forward, and don't look back.
And Even More
I go through phases in my life. First was the motorbike phase, where I would stop doing what I was doing and just stare as a motorbike went by - they are the most beautiful machines created. I then went through a reading phase - fantasy is my genre. Then there was the music phase, which lasted several years; it started when I was 14, and hasn't really faded yet. I loved Busted when they came out (go ahead and laugh), which led me from cheesy pop to bands that played their own instruments, and then went around following unsigned bands around London and Kent, running a street team, getting guestlisted and allowed backstage. As things stand now, I still love music, but reading is creeping in again - in a big way, and it's mostly YA fantasy at the mo; anything with vampires, werewolves, or faeries in, I'll give a go - and movies are finding a place in my heart. Seriously, I am researching those Twilight actors and their goings on all the time, and trying to build up my DVD collection of their past movies. So three phases at once.
