  • Bio

For far too long metal has been music’s ugly unwanted child kept from the rest of the family, looking in through the keyholes, gaping through the curtains, watching, growing stronger and more restless, and kicking on the doors refusing to be denied. .. .. Determined to break through the threshold of an often stigmatised and formulaic genre, HUMANERROR is both a departure from the genre’s conventions and a revelation of things to come. .. .. The earliest form of the band started in Dubbo NSW, 2005, when it was at that stage just Matt Nelson’s one man project. Over the course of two years he wrote and recorded over 20 songs which 16 were later chosen to create the “Evolution Is Obsolete” demo. Selling many copies of the demo, and generating moderate interest with the internet as his only tool, it was shortly realised there would need to be other human components necessary to complete the band. .. .. HUMANERROR is .. .. Mitchell Hines: Drums .. Matt Nelson: Vocals, Guitars .. Daniel Fenech: Guitars .. Dorian Logue: Bass .. .. In 2006, Nelson’s longtime friends and former band mates Daniel Fenech and Mitch Hines formed the very first lineup of HUMANERROR. With similar interests in playing a form of melodic yet aggressive metal they instantly began penning tunes. Rehearsing and writing for well over 6 months, and having already written many of the new songs, there was still the Bass element missing from the scene. The next half of the year was spent with trial and error of bass players; with the prospect looming of never finding a permanent replacement, Dorian Logue, an old friend and former band mate of all the other members joined and the band was solidified. .. .. In April of 2008, they began pre-production demos for their debut album, and in July started primary tracking for the album. “Memories Of The Afterlife” was completed in August, and with that complete, the band was about to take their next step. In September the band has permanently relocated to Newcastle NSW, a more thriving metal scene than before and closer to other larger areas. .. .. The band now continue to play shows in and around the Hunter region and are looking to finally release the album for tentative 2009 release.

Determined to break through the threshold of an often stigmatised and formulaic genre, HUMANERROR is both a departure from the genre’s conventions and a revelation of things to come.

Over the course of two years he wrote and recorded over 20 songs which 16 were later chosen to create the “Evolution Is Obsolete” demo. HUMANERROR is

Mitchell Hines: Drums
Matt Nelson: Vocals, Guitars
Daniel Fenech: Guitars
Dorian Logue: Bass

In 2006, Nelson’s longtime friends and former band mates Daniel Fenech and Mitch Hines formed the very first lineup of HUMANERROR. With similar interests in playing a form of melodic yet aggressive metal they instantly began penning tunes. Rehearsing and writing for well over 6 months, and having already written many of the new songs, there was still the Bass element missing from the scene.
