Her Holiness Sai Maa just became the only woman in history to be named the Jagatguru (master of the universe, the highest title a guru can receive in India)of the 2007 Kumbh Mela. This is the first time in the 5000 year history of the Vaishnav Saint Society, the title has been bestowed upon a woman. First for the histroy of the Kumbh Mela too.

For northern latitude dwellers the colder weather causes many to dwell within in a variety of ways. I have some great meditations during these more solitary winter months! It can be a time for New Year's resolutions, an opportunity to reflect, to be introspective.
