Hakkımda: Somewhat student at Ulster University, stuck in Dundee...working full time and completing my course so very far away from all the fun and frolics that Uni should provide. And I thought second time around I was supposed to do it better than that pitiful attempt at Abertech!
Trying to take in as much stand up as I can this year. Fantastic start with Rob Brydon and Al Murray being great nights out. Next up...Russell Howard in June!
Please help Walter Koenig, "Chekov from Star Trek TOS", Get His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Walter has been nominated for his star and waltersstar.com has raised the money to manufacture and install the star (Thanks!). All Walter needs now is the votes of the Walk of Fame Committee. Write to the Walk of Fame Committee a polite letter in your own words, why you think Walter should have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. These NEED to be letters from each individual fan in the fan's own words. Not copies, Not form letters, Not chain letters. Biochemistry sounds interesting. Part of me thinks it would be neat to know everything there was to know about everything, but I am a firm believer in knowing too much. I think humanity knows too much, and I think timelines are a lot more delicate than anyone can possibly imagine. So as interesting as that sounds for me to go into biochemistry, I'll have to settle for admiring your decision.
You can usually tell the people who are going to delete and stick around. I blog my comments, but MySpace just made it so you can't use comment boxes, limited blog space, and can't link your blogs directly. I get five comments into a serious storyline and am forced to start another blog and I can't say, "Contined here - Blog", I have to say, "Continued here. http://www.myspace.com/big_long_arse_url"
I don't know, maybe if you could have people make profiles. Sometimes when I'm typing the comment in Word, I'll stream the music of the profile I'm writing too as inspiration. I guess I really like visual and audio element to MySpace, which is why I haven't delved into Facebook.
You know, I really loved playing Inara, because she was so incredibly complex and beautiful. I would play her on your board. And I've always wanted to play River, when she was crazy. I wanted to follow another storyline. I like the idea of no pressure role play as I tend to get in my own world a bit too often.
No, it's not a RP group at all. It's just a place to chat about all things sci-fi like a forum. MySpace isn't friendly when a few people want to get into the action which is definitely a downside of myspace. But I don't know if I'm ready to leave MySpace yet for an RP board. I guess part of me loves to customize and visit my profiles and other profiles.
I'm starting to watch Lost now that it's hit scifi. It's pretty good. I don't want to pick up any characters from old series. It would be cool to pick up Star Trek based on the new movie. I could totally play Spock, Uhura, Kirk, or some Romulan bad guy. That could be fun if you'd find interest. I'd be leaning away towards playing a girl though. And I don't think I'd want to play a good guy, which leads me to play a Romulan. If you could find the interest, I'd do it.
What are you studying that you need to take an exam?

Greetings and salutations,
My best friend Mark Williams (a.k.a.) Admiral Kirk needs your vote to win a Star Trek: TOS Captain's Chair in the final round of the Roddenberry. com's 2008 Member of the Year contest. Mark and I "Gary (a.k.a.) Mr. Spock" are best known for our "Kirk And Spock" shows that we put on at conventions. The 2008 STARBASE INDY convention on Thanksgiving weekend featured us as part of their main entertainment. We had performed "Spock's Brain". I hope that we can get the video of our performance on YouTube in the near future. Another great reason to vote for Mark is that I only live a few miles from his house! After all, I have been and always shall be his friend.
