Human Vibe is a combination of Nicko’s soul-filled voice and music and the talent of professional musicians: Luc Catellier on drums and Jean Lalonde on guitar. Their lyrics and rock music are highlighted with several colourful styles such as funk, reggae and folk. The group’s influences come from a wide variety of musical styles, from hard rock and alternative rock such as Tool and Alice in Chains, to British groups like The Police, Genesis and Yes. Human Vibe also enjoys injecting their creations with sounds of other current inspirations, Ben Harper, Daniel Lanois, Coral Egan, Celt Afro Sound System, Dead Can Dance, Susheela Raman and other world beats.
The central force of Human Vibe is singer-songwriter Nicko, whose guitar sounds and warm moving voice are delightful for the ears and uplifting for the soul. His career started years ago when he worked solo writing and composing for his first projects, Tempramentum & Aphobia. Inspired by his expanding creativity, Nicko set aside his other musical projects to follow his intuition and concentrate exclusively on his personal material, thereby giving birth to Human Vibe.
Emerging from Montreal, Human Vibe is planning to expand worldwide.
