Illustrates the importance of roller skating safety equipment and stresses the need for routine safety and maintenance checks. Shows a variety of skates and makes recommendations on equipment purchase versus rental. Deals with basic skating safety on sidewalks and streets.

WE HAVE A BEVY OF LOANER SKATES FOR NEWBIES! COME PUT YOUR FEET IN 'EM! PADS TOO. We have a new training facility and practice schedule. PRACTICES ARE FROM 7-9pm TUESDAYS WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS IN FRANCHESI HALL IN THE EUREKA FAIRGROUNDS. (NEWBIES 6-7)

Ok, so I got these new wheels that go really really fast, and I think that's all it took for me to want to do derby. I have to wait for my foot to heal, but as soon as it does I'm there.
