My hero is my Mom. She passed away when I was 15 of a brain tumor. Growing up I thought she was meanest Mom in the world. She wouldn't let me do the things I wanted or go certain places. There I was 15 and without the person I needed the most at that age. BUT I made it through and here I am all grown up and as I have gotten older I have realized that she is the one who taught me manners, morals and family value. I thank her for that.
I can truely say I have had a great life. Everyone has ups and downs, that is a part of life, a growing process, to become a better person. To make you stronger as an individual. God has blessed me with 2 wonderful children and 6 awesome grand children. They make me laugh and they make me cry with joy sometimes. They are my world and I wouldn't trade that world for anything. I love them very much.
The only thing I know of that would make my life complete is the love of a good honest man.
I live a simple life and enjoy the most simple things. Infact the simple things make me the happiest. Family, star gazing, smelling a spring flower, the smell of fresh cut grass, walking at the beach and letting the sand squish between your toes, hearing the waves beat against the shore, the clap of thunder and a streak of lightening. A lot of people go through a day and never even notice the beauty around them. I try not to even blink because I don't want to miss a thing. If you blink to long your life has past by, your children are grown, your grand children are grown and you are left wondering "Where has time gone?"!
Last year I started a jewelry company. The name is Creative Jewelry Design. I hand craft everything...earrings, necklaces, anklets, and bracelets. Each one is unique. Gives me something to do in my spare time.
