Influences
One of the best things about our band is that every member has a different favorite ska band, and we can take those influences and turn them into our band's sound. These bands include (but not limited to) Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris, Suburban Legends, Less Than Jake, Arrogant Sons of Bitches, Mad Caddies, and Streelight Manifesto.
We are closed for business. But the page will stay up for posterity. Leave your love and comments.
Deepest regards,
the Management

One of the FEW Santa Clarita ska bands left. Started in April of 2006 by Cesar Hernandez (Lead Vocals) and Justin Mercer (Guitar/Vocals). Their idea was to make a super sweet ska band that would bring happiness to many people and various midgets.
They searched for members at Canyon High and around the valley. They found Eric Schallert (Bass), a music genius and master of the bass; Matt Tye (Drums/Vocals), ownage of the beats and master of the drums; RJ George (Trombone), boner player and Suburban Legends lover (and ironically the trombonist of Bulletproof Socks, the band that inspired Cesar and Justin to start a Ska band in the first place!); Kat Ballard (Trombone), our newest addition to the family, adding a female touch to our style, as well as kicking ass at the trombone. There have been many other various members, but they have sadly left the band.
Humor the Frog will be concentrating more on writing our own music, as of now we have 8 original songs, which includes "Can't Get it Off", "Tone Deaf", "Bag Girl", "His Name Was...", "Leaders", "Santa Cruz Cruise" and "Get Outta My Garage (Brand New Day)" and we've just finished our latest song "I Think We Can Do Better" and it's ready for the public to hear. And that means we're just about 4 songs shy from having an entire album, alright! Also, after going through many MANY cover songs, the only ones we'll even consider playing include Less Than Jake's "Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts", Arrogant Sons of Bitches' "So Let's Go Nowhere!", and our own original ska cover of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long".
We've come a long way from Justin's garage those many months ago, summer's almost over, but Humor the Frog still is ready to rock!
