Humpys marathon in Anchorage Alaska
Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2005 Humpy’s Marathon. It was a fantastic event with record participation. Humpy’s and the Anchorage Running Club would like to give a special thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the event happen. Humpy’s looks forward to sponsoring next year’s event – check back for dates and times soon.

Humpy's Marathon 2005
This race is a Boston Marathon Qualifier Race as well as USATF certified!
All 3 events start and finish at Humpy's Great Alaskan Ale House in downtown Anchorage. The races are conducted almost entirely on paved bike trails, with a dirt path to the side for those who prefer a softer ride. Our participants only encounter one mile of roads (the first half-mile outbound and the last half-mile inbound), and then never have to worry about crossing streets or competing with cars, and there is plenty of beautiful scenery to stimulate the senses as the trail takes you through wooded vistas and alongside historic Cook Inlet.

Humpy's was founded in 1994 with the goal of providing downtown Anchorage a casual, neighborhood alehouse. Excellent food at reasonable prices, live local music and a fantastic selection of draught beers proved a winning combination and Humpy's was an overnight success. Humpy's attracted loyal suporters in droves and revitalized the downtown nightlife scene.
Over a decade later Humpy's is still going strong - a favorite with locals and tourists alike. Their secret is offering a little something for everyone.

Humpy's patio offers outdoor seating during the summer! Most folks gravitate to it during Anchorage's beautiful, warm summer days. It's a fantastic place to meet with friends, brag about your Alaskan exploits, enjoy a summer ale and the best King Crab in the world.

Every Tuesday night at 8pm sharp, Humpy's hosts Anchorage's original and most popular Pub Quiz. Bring a team, join one at the bar, or fly solo and test your wits against Anchorage's best trivia buffs. Questions are on topics from entertainment to history, geography to current events and all points in between.
Humpy's Quiz
Hosted by your Quizmaster Cyndi, and occasional surprise celebrity Quizmasters, Pub Quiz is a great way to spend an evening of fun, meeting new friends, keeping your brain active and have the chance to win prizes. Pub Quiz night at Humpy's is well on it's way to becoming another great Anchorage tradition.
PUB QUIZ!!!! Yes it's that time of the year again when we get together every Tuesday at 8PM and play TRIVIA at Humpy's and also Subzero for the non smokers. Prizes are given away for every round and a grand prize for the team that wins it all. The grand prize is a reserve seat for the following week because as we all know getting a seat isn't always that easy. So get there early stake you seats, have dinner and most importantly have a great time. Come alone or bring all your smart friends!
I have a event coming up in March, I have a cat coming up from Kirkland, WA. He's been hand-picked to play alongside Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, ATB, Above & Beyond, Eddie Halliwell, Blank & Jones, Markus Schulz, Kyau & Albert, and the list goes on.
Anyway I was interested in having him play at a venue the day before.... if your interested hit me up. All I'd like is 10% of bar intake.... or $10 a head cover charge.
