   About Hundred Monkey Theory
The band Hundred Monkey Theory has a distinctive artsy alternative rock sound; a light and dark mix of intricate harmonies, complicated rhythms and multi-layered instrumentation. For fans of The Decemberists and My Brightest Diamond.

Band History:
After performing music in Nashville for five years, Scott and Patty Womer returned to their hometown of Albany, NY and quickly established relationships with many area musicians. Over the years, a few of these friends turned into what is now known as Hundred Monkey Theory: Scott (guitar/voice) and Patty (lead voice) joined with Dennis Gardner (bass), Rachel Gardner (second voice), Dave Bremer (drums/djembe), and Michelle Williams (violin), making the band complete.

In 2004, HMT went into the studio to record their first release: a 6-track EP called "This Sterile Room" which is available for purchase at cdbaby.com, or for download on iTunes.
