A mixed bag. I like just as many total pieces of crap as I do life-changing viewing expereinces.
Television
There's some stuff I really like, but most of it's crap. Even the stuff I DO like I could wait for on DVD and just marathon-view it in a weekend with friends.
Really, TV is the great un-regulated drug of the world. Right up there with tobacco and caffiene.
Though I will say that Battlestar Galactica and LOST are my two "OMG-I-gotta-gotta-gotta-get-my-FIX!!!" shows. And 30 Rock might be the funniest show NOT featuring yellow people in Springfield.
Books
Yeah, remember books? I mean way back, before they were just the larval stages of screenplays?...
I've been rereading a lot of those books & authors you first come into contact with in like, junior high: Brave New World, 1984, Faranheit 451, Hunter Thompson, etc, etc.
