About me:
I spent four years studying post-colonial literature and Vygotskian educational theory, but I now work at a typical corporate job as a web programmer for a tenant screening company. Pretty much everything about me is similarly bipolar ;-)
I grew up in the Silicon Valley, and love the area so much that I wrote my senior thesis on the history of it. For college I went to UCSC, where I became even more of a dirty liberal hippie than I already was. I then moved back to Los Altos, and in to a house that is (coincidentally) only a few blocks away from the one I grew up in. I live there with one of my best friends from high school, Victor, and two of his friends from Cal Poly, Sergio and Tim.
For fun I like to do nerdy things like read, play computer/video games (my current obsession is Guitar Heroes), watch TV shows downloaded off the internet (or Tivoed when I actually remember to record something), and practice Kung Fu. I also do less nerdy things like dancing (cha cha, salsa, swing, etc.), mountain biking, going out to bars, and throwing raucous drunken parties ... but not too often; I have an image to maintain.
As for family, I have two dads, a mom, a pseudo-step-mom, a half-brother (Brian), a sister (Rachel), and a half-sister (Mira). Needless to say, I do a LOT of birthday/holiday (Christmas and Hanukkah) shopping ...
