"But might we not say Apparitions are to some extent portions, particles, from other spheres. A healthy man can have no reason for seeing them, considering that a healthy man is above all a material man; he must in consequence, in order to be well, live on or by his mundane life. But let him get ill, let his normal physical organisation get out of order, then forthwith becomes manifest the possibility of another world; and, in proportion to his increasing illness, his contact with the next world becomes nearer and nearer till death hurls him straight away into it. This argument I have held for a long time; and if you believe in another life nothing can prevent you admitting this."
- Svidrigailoff
from Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment
used with greatest respect.
Starting in 2006 three brothers made their way one by one to Houston, TX. This was a part of the Houck family's extended exodus out of Africa to return to America. That exodus has yet to end. The Houck progeny; sons and daughters of missionary musicians, had been raised on the road in Southern Africa as well as all across the mid-western states.
Somehow, David, Jacob and Abraham, found themselves in Houston, with no real plan or map. There they met Ferrick Hallaron IV. Songs started appearing, creeping out of the cracks in the walls and blowing in on hurricane winds.
I haven't been by in a while. Hi! I've just about gotten my album finished. I think it's going to be better than the first one! I haven't been playing out much thanks to the studio, but I have some shows and stuff coming up. Also new shirts! What have you been doing?
Hey thanksgiving, take this! A song written by my old group Bluntsworth four or five years ago.
"Gravy On My Tateys" Crappy sound quality back then, ouch! The songwriting is still there though I think. What do you think, is it a new classic holiday song?
Just wanted to let you know that our album is finally out! It's called
"White Flags and Silver Spoons Have To Sleep In Separate Rooms". It is
now available on iTunes.
It features "Fight What" that was on MTV's Real World: Brooklyn.
Be sure to head over to the iTunes store to hear some of it, and be
sure to leave a review or two for it. We also have some reviews for it
on our page by some pretty great sources :)
And feel free to pass it around when you get it. What's ours is yours.

Heaven’s Strength God walks with you, He'll do his part to lift up and mend shattered hearts Water His shoulder with your tears whisper to Him all doubts and fears Find comfort these times soon shall pass Life is but a tempestuous, fragile glass Yet, with a wave of God's mighty hand He can scatter troubles upon the sand Leave the window of life opened wide Bidding your Shepherd to come inside During trials and troubles invite God in Bringing peace and comfort once again
