Every generation of rap has an artists that comes along and changes the game not only with his style of music but a work ethic a whole way of doing business and making music.In a game driven on who got what who doing what,its very rare that you run accross an artist who also pass on a little game in the meantime.An artist who rap on tracks as if he was having a one on one conversation with the masses.This is where HU$$LE comes in.
Residing from Texarkana,the stateline between Texas and Arkansas.HU$$LE was raised in the rosehill hood on Texas side.As a kid HU$$LE wrote poetry,and had a strong love for music from the R&B,to blues,to soul,to jazz,and of course hip hop.Being from a home where poverty was relivant,HU$$LE always had music to be his babysitter.He always freestyled as a kid coming up,but it wasn't until HU$$LE was in Highschool that he took music serious,something more than just a hobby.He would see how his fellow students would crowd around him every morning,to hear him spit a freestyle.
HU$$LE made some demos and a few tapes and was sending them off to labels.HU$$LE kept getting the same answers,he rapped too fast and he needed to learn how to record in bars,learn how to make hooks and stop cursing so much and etc.As a young teenager these words from artists he was big fans of,deteriated his music dreams.
Which brings us up to 2002.With the death of his mother,and feeling like he was left all alone.HU$$LE which was only 18 at the time was going through alot of depression.After a failed suicide attempt.HU$$LE again started back dealing with music,because this was the only thing to ever help him deal with stress,always been there when he needed it.He once again started making music then known as SardoniC.He recorded numerous mixtapes between 2002 and 2005.This time his music was more about his life,his anger,and his pain.His music touched the soul of many fans.Also captured the ears of a independent A&R group called talent unlimited.
He made so much music that he sent in demos 2 to 3 times a month.Without having his music copywritten he began hearing other established artists in the game use his hooks and ideas.Even more a group called SardoniC sent in the cease and disease orders for the name SardoniC which they had copywritten.Which takes us up to 2006.With a new Name HU$$LE dropped tracks like peel money Rolls,Roll wit a G,Ballin Never Fallin,and I'm a G.Which Garnished a buzz all on the internet.
between 2006 and 2008 HU$$LE fell out of the scene of things with his music.He began Playing the background doing some ghost writing work,promotional work,and street team work.All between that time HU$$LE recorded numerous songs and started learning the ends and outs of the game.Living up to his new rap name HU$$LE which means,Hustling until Steven Shorter Life Ends.
Which bring us up to 2008.HU$$LE created his own label called Hunnid Way Entertainment.The first release was his debut album titled Gettin' Minez,which consist of the best 15 songs he felt he recorded within the 2 years he was out of scene.Which included the single I'm rollin.It also had the underground classics Peel money Rolls,Roll wit a G,Ballin never Fallin,and I'm a G.It was a classic cd in the streets.It earned HU$$LE a reputation as a underground Legend.
Now knowing the game and having his business right HU$$LE has been grinding non stop,and is putting out album after album.Through his journey in both music and life HU$$LE has learned many things.Through his music HU$$LE invites the masses for a ride with him to the top of the game.Sharing the world his motto of keeping it 100,and getting it 100 ways.100
