Travis Denton: Rhythm guitar, lead and backing vocals
Paul Agee: Bass (electric and standup)
Ben Grandin: Drums/Percussion, lead and backing vocals
Hunter Baugus: Lead guitar, lead and backing vocals
Hunter's Travesty was conceived when Travis Denton (rhythm guitar, lead and backing vocals) and Hunter Baugus (lead guitar, lead and backing vocals), decided to leave the friendly confines of jamming on the back porches and living rooms of friends and family, and try their luck at some local open mics. After some fun, and not so fun moments, some regular acoustic gigs came about and they were on their way. Towards the end of the summer in '04 Travis and Hunter asked a friend who was also a local, young and budding musician to join them and play percussion. That friend was Ben Grandin (drums, lead and backing vocals). Ben began playing on a four piece hand drum set accompanied by cymbals. It was a very nice addition to acoustic and electric of Denton and Baugus and was well received by audiences. By the spring and summer of '05 Hunter's Travesty was playing between 2 and 4 times a week locally in Charlotte. They had Lincoln Baugus (bass, lead and backing vocals) and were developing a small but loyal local fanbase. Towards the end of the '05 year they continued to develop their sound and in the spring and summer of '06 they were still playing regularly around Charlotte. In October of '06 they came to a brief hiatus where soon after Paul Agee (bass) would join the band. Lincoln Baugus was still a creative consultant and credit in the songwriting. Paul Agee was a local musician on the Charlotte scene predominately in the jazz genre but made an excellent addition to the still growing sound of Hunter's Travesty. Now with the new year approaching Hunter's Travesty hopes to continue to grow and play not just locally but regionally and beyond.
