Hursh is the result of singer songwriter Ben Hursh teaming up with Guy Hursh on guitar, Rebecca Hursh on backing vocals , Add to the mix long time bassist Rob Ackley, Larry Hammond on the drums, Ben has a knack for writing from the heart and pours himself into the music. Guy adds a continuity that can only come from family history. Rob & Larry complete the sound that combines strong melodies, subtle harmonies and honest, edgy lyrics. Hursh is a mix of styles and takes influence from a wide range of artists and from broken hearts to the bond between family and friends. Our self titled CD was recorded at Solid Sound Studio in Ann Arbor, MI with Recording Engineer Chris Goosman.
