Let’s Get Ready to Rumble! Am Freitag den 4. September lädt das Fundbureau zu einem Event der Superlative: Zwei Bands. Zwei Bühnen. Ein Champion. Mit dieser Fight Night startet eine noch nie da gewesene Konzertreihe - kein gewöhnlicher Band Battle, sondern ein direkter musikalischer Schlagabtausch. Auf zwei Bühnen, die frontal zueinander ausgerichtet sind, treffen zwei Hamburger Combos aufeinander. Musiker gegen Musiker, gekämpft wird mit den Waffen des Rock’n’Roll. Das Publikum steht direkt zwischen den Fronten. In der roten Ecke: The Svines, kompromisslos, hart, zu allem entschlossen. Doch ihre Kontrahenten, die Psychofuckers, sind in ihrer Stilvielfalt ein unberechenbarer Gegner. Wer verlässt als erster Rock’n’Roll-Champion den Ring? Über Triumph oder Untergang entscheidet am Ende das Publikum.

HIGHWAY CHILD is for everyone addicted to classic rock - all the good old stuff from MC5 to AC/DC and Led
Zeppelin. The lads are already an experienced and hardened live band - and despite sold-out shows, an album
recorded and ready, and rave mentions in the underground, they still have no record deal. This band shouldend up
in the same league as the best garage rock bands of our time.
Roskilde Festival 2007

HIGHWAY CHILD totally kicked everyone's ass! This was a band that was hungry to play and really jammed it out. Think Grand Funk Railroad live LP and this is the kind of kick ass energy the band had. Excellent drummer, bass
player and guitarist. Great fucking singer as well. The band ended the main set with their anthem, HighwayChild
before they decide to come back on end the show with a heavy version of Kick out the Jams by the MC5.
