For over 20 years Hutch has been developing his own distinctive guitar sound and songwriting style. He shines as an extremely gifted guitar player, painting his music with infectious guitar riffs and blazing guitar solos. His music is greatly influenced by Rock n’ Roll, Blues, Folk, Country, Funk, Reggae, and Pop music. One could categorize Hutch’s music as Good time Rock N’ Roll with a southern rock edge.
Hutch first pursued his musical education studying guitar under Brian Terrotorsian when he was 14. Years later he began studying voice under Doug Susa Mago, attended Oakton Community College of Des Plaines, Harper College of Palatine studying Classical Music Theory, and Jazz Theory through Chris Whalen.
Hutch has been in a number of bands over the past 20 years including: Trixx 4 Kixx, Canton Rock, The Bemhos, Purple Locomotive and most recently Brother Willis. He has performed hundreds of shows throughout his career and performs solo wherever he can. A typical Hutch performance is aimed at entertaining the audience with recognizable, danceable, sing-able, good time music with a touch of improvisation and unpredictability.
“My aim is to leave the audience totally entertained… I want them to take the goodtime with them and leave them wanting more.”
Hutch has also appeared on local cable talent shows and has performed for various occasions at several Chicago-land churches. He also has performed on several musicians’ albums.
