there are many questions to answer about who I am, where I come from , and the music I play! so I hope I can help sum things up in a few paragraphs for you, I'll start with a time line of my life!
May 23 1987- a big bird with a big beak brings me to the front door of mommy and daddy Hutchins.
1992- first day of school! fun, but don't like nap time.
1993- pull burning log out of fire place and set the carpet on fire, all is well but the carpet has big hole in it.
1995- school is good I have some girl friends, but don't speak to them cuz..well... cooties.
1995- start sneaking out of room to play dads old guitar. Dad finds me one night and
asks what I am doing out of bed. I tell him that I am writing a song, (I think I'm in big trouble) but he just tells me to take it to my room and play.
1996- in first play!/ vice president at my school (when your in a clutch vote for hutch!)
1999- move to Washougal WA. Get my first guitar, girls don't have cooties any more, I love the blues!, I love the outdoors, I learn some songs (smoke on the water, come as you are, bran stew, black bog,) I don't get in to the school music program because I cant read music.
2000- Y,2,K, happens! aaahhhahaaah........wait....never mind its cool.
2001-2005- meet a lot of buddy's (Sean, Nik, Tyler, Greg,James)
play a lot of music, have a lot of bands (A.T.M, Watershed, Caswell, Fallback Farewell) play in a lot of plays, (a lot of plays!). Graduate high school.
2006- Meet and play music with John Cefes, Phil Wiggins, Darel Davis, Terry Harmonica Been, Lightin Wells, Loury Bell, Pinetop Perkins, Ed Pennington, Robert Belfour, Roy Bookbinder, and see B.B. king out side a hotel in Portland.
2008- living in Portland OR with buddy Sean, and playing music!
Hey Dave, Annieville just told me that John Cephus just passed away on March 4th. A memorial service is being held for him at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natuarl History in Washington D.C. It's gonna be weird not having him at Port Townsend this year.
Dave! Whats up man how have you been? It's been a while, I hope the music seen down there's treating you well. I just registered for port townsend and thought of you and Luara.

Loving the timeline! Also, wondering if you'd be willing to collaborate with me on a song for my pre-Nashville demo. I'd like to do something along the lines of "Ball and Chain" by Janis Joplin, and can think of no one better than you to cover that type of song with. Anyhow, if you would consider it I would be much obliged.
Dude come on, saying you suck is like calling the Coen Brothers hacks. And yeah man, we should really record sometime. We need to have a great jam night and just record the whole thing. Then, phase 2, we get together shortly after to listen and play our favorite parts more polished. I miss ya man.
