My musical journey thus far...
Born of musical parents - Father attended same school as Pete Best, and worked with John Lennon's uncle - "a waste of space who will never do anything with his life" was his opinion of his nephew!
Raised in Cwmbran, South Wales, and attended same school as Green Gartside of Scritty Politty fame
Moved to Manchester, and spent eight years living next door to Factory Records headquarters in Didsbury...
As far as my songwriting goes, my influences tend towards the classics of yesteryear...Any music played on instruments built before 1970, with great chord progressions, intriguing melodies and clever harmonies gets my vote....
Huw, just been enjoying your tracks! Let me know when I can buy an album off you! Sounds mega - as one of your groupies I'm sorry I can't make your gigs this time. Ever considered touring Germany...?!
I think your songs are amazing. Voice sounds amazing. You deserve to have your stuff on the Radio and TV. Lisa also loves your stuff. Let me know when its ready to buy.
I was just working out that song you wrote "every day that passes is the day I love her less" to show to Lisa. Is that in A minor?
That song has been stuck in my head for years.
We should write a song together next time I am back.

On Monday 4th June 2007 between 1.30pm and 3.45pm a rehearsal for Liverpool’s Big Sing will be held at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral. Thirteen schools from Merseyside will be represented by their choirs to sing a new charity song called Warchild.
The song Warchild originally written by musician /actor Chris O’Neill, from the award winning film Backbeat, where he played the part of George Harrison. After seeing the plight of starving children shown on the ITV programme This Morning, when they were raising awareness for the charity Warchild.
The new recording will be available for a very small charge on download from www.indiestore.com/chrisoneill. For every £40 pounds made from these proceeds, incredibly, we can feed a child for a whole year who has been orphaned by Aids in Africa! A very small price to pay to save a child’s life. Peace and love to you all Chris.
