About Huw Wilcox

Huw Wilcox is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Hertfordshire. Over the last ten years Huw has been gigging and recording with various bands up and down the country. Huw formed ‘The Huw Wilcox Band’ in 2006 with Manchester musicians Alex Pearson (bass guitar), Phil Ratcliffe (lead guitar), Sam Lewis (tenor saxophone), Calum Gordon (keyboard) and Jason Cole (drums). The band released there first album, ‘Give Me Your Love’ in 2008, which is still available for download from the iTunes store. In 2009, Huw decided to formed a trio with Jason Cole and the accomplished jazz bassist Nick Waldock. The groups music brings an eclectic mix of soul, blues and funk, which is sure to get your feet tapping. The trio are currently booking gigs around the London area, so stay posted for information on Huw and the band’s performances in the near future…
