PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT HYMN TO THE EARTH
When I wrote and composed this song, i knew right away that” it did not belong to me”, meaning that I had the intimate conviction that it had a purpose : a humanitarian purpose. The version you hear on this page is the version to present the project, sung by Julie Marillier.
We know that today’s children are tomorrow’s adults and that their future behavior depends upon the education they receive today. We also know that all kinds of suffered violence will have, at the best, indelible consequences, at the worse, this violence will express itself if the pain created by it has not been expressed through a creative, constructive, structuring and liberating expression. Therefore, I want that all this song’s rights/benefits to be allotted to their education in an artistic direction - music, painting, sculpture, dance, theater, and different art workshops, which would not only help them to express their sufferings by art liberation, but also would help them to reconstruct themselves through training and through the necessary efforts that any artistic activity requires. In order to do so, art workshops have to be created, free of charge, where children will be able to try and choose the artistic training, which suits them the best.
I suggest that this song should be adapted and sung in many languages and in many countries, so that each CD can be used for this purpose in each country concerned. I think that this hymn and its benefits, could be very useful to repair the deep psychological damages, and also open up everybody’s hearts in order to bring some kind of improvement in this world. It is, of course, a long term vision, but it could contribute for sure to help tomorrow’s adults to become better, free and constructive.
I appeal to all international organisations which could be interested to manage this project.

Lorsque j'ai composé et écrit cette chanson, j'ai immédiatement su qu'elle ne "m'appartenait" pas, dans le sens où j'avais l'intime conviction qu'elle devait servir son but : un but humanitaire. La version que vous entendez ici est la version de présentation du projet, chantée par Julie Marrillier.
Sachant que les enfants d'aujourd'hui seront les adultes de demain, que leur comportement futur dépend de l'enseignement qu'ils reçoivent aujourd'hui, que la violence vécue sous toutes ses formes engendrera au mieux des séquelles indélébiles, au pire se reproduira dans leur vie d'adulte si ces souffrances n'ont pas pu être exprimées par une expression créative libératrice et structurante, je désire que tous les droits/bénéfices découlant de cette chanson soient alloués à leur éducation dans une démarche artistique - musique, peinture, sculpture, danse, théâtre, ateliers divers - qui leur permettra non seulement d'exprimer leurs souffrances par un art libérateur, mais également de se restructurer par la discipline et le goût de l'effort que n'importe quelle activité artistique implique. Ceci suppose donc la création d'écoles/ateliers d'art généralistes gratuits où l'enfant pourra essayer et choisir la discipline artistique qui lui convient le mieux.
Je suggère que cette chanson soit adaptée et interprétée en plusieurs langues dans plusieurs pays, afin que chaque CD enregistré serve ce but et le pays concerné. Je pense que cet hymne et les droits/bénéfices qui en découleront pourront être très utiles, non seulement à réparer des dégâts psychologiques profonds, mais aussi amener à une ouverture du coeur sans laquelle il n'y aura pas d'amélioration possible sur cette planète. Il s'agit bien sûr une vision à long terme mais qui pourra contribuer sans doute à rendre les adultes de demain meilleurs, libres et constructifs.
Je fais appel à toutes les grandes organisations internationales qui pourraient être intéressées à mener ce projet à bien.
