Hey, Here's the Scoop -- Imagine what would happen if the center of the music universe became Albuquerque, NM for a weekend. Well, that's exactly what happens during the Hyperactive Music Festival & Conference! Music Industry Executives, Bands, and Fans come together to share, learn and network!
This three day event features panels, discussions, music, film, multiple venue's and over 200 performing artists. The 2008 festival/conference will be held August 21-23, located in and around downtown Albuquerque, NM. In 2007 Hyperfest saw almost 20,000 attendees and 230 bands in over 10 venues.
Bands like Army Of Me, Scissors For Lefty, Oh No Not Stereo, The Hero Factor, The Peekaboo Theory, Soular, Colourmusic, The Thieves, The Outline, Drew Danburry, Green River Ordinance, Jay Nash, Peachcake, Rachael Sage, Funky Nashville, Black Pegasus, Blackmarket, Dusty Rhodes And the River band, Fata Morgana featuring Tim Alexander from Primus, Go Motion, Ari Shine, Tony Scalzo from Fastball, The Day After, Girl In A Coma, Your Black Star and many more.
Speakers from MTV, Warner, SESAC, Epic, Subpop, CDBaby, Sonicbids, Summerfest in Milwaukee, Gogirlsmusic.com, Fox Studios, IMAX films, SoundExchange, Nimbit, Groupietunes, and many more.
Where are these bands and musicians from?
These artists are from all over the globe, from N.Y.C. to L.A. to Santa Fe. They're all extremely talented artists who are putting out records and touring independently (or with the help of an indie label). This is your big chance to support independent artists!

Hey hows you? x just wanted to mention iam touring all over the UK from september for a year, traveling all over got the first 4 months up and adding more and more to it, the first 3 months is for Busking For Cancer :) in Aid for cancer research, all the shows are free so would be awesome to see you at a show supporting wat im touring for, check out our dates and if we arnt playing in your area then please do let us know cause it is for a FULL year so we wanna get everywhere and anywhere :) also recording new stuff this weekend so new songs will be up :) anyways hoping ur having a good start to the summer.
