    ..i won't bore with a list but suffice it to say that i like pretty much anything, save for big-budget action-adventure blockbusters (usually), period pieces, zany capers, films that rely too much on gross-out humor, and war epics. i have a lot to say about movies; i guess that is to be expected.

    favorite directors: wes anderson, mary harron, christopher guest, todd solondz.

    favorite types/genres: faux documentary, actual documentary, anything funny, introspective, or innovative.

    guilty pleasures: center stage, contact, summer school, and anything else that was played repeatedly on HBO during the 90s. see also: anything with lesbians, awful movies i watch with jane, and direct-to-video sequels and sci-fi thrillers i watch with joseph. thanks guys.

(I am boycotting because I wasn't allowed to be a contestant), rob & big, mythbusters, saturday night live, desperate housewives, grey's anatomy, ugly betty, project runway, south of nowhere, the apprentice, best week ever, weeds, work out, numb3rs, reno 911, janice dickinson modeling agency, how i met your mother, new adventures of old christine, foster's home for imaginary friends, so you think you can dance, top chef, brothers and sisters, private practice, reaper, chuck, dirty sexy money.

    dvd: arrested development, queer as folk, sex and the city, buffy the vampire slayer, newsradio, six feet under, mr. show, sailor moon, abfab, cowboy bebop, popular.

    and the state, which really should be out on dvd.

    ..people: michelle tea, dorothy parker, edgar allan poe, ee cummings, donald barthelme, bret easton ellis, roald dahl, dr. seuss, kafka, dave eggers, augusten burroughs, david sedaris, matthew pearl. amy sedaris' book is pretty great too. and i really enjoy mythology.

    comics: calvin and hobbes, foxtrot, the far side, peanuts, bloom county.

    required reading: animal farm, the metamorphosis, slaughterhouse five, lord of the flies, the great gatsby.

    i totally read the glaad media awards report, that was awesome. man, i need to fucking move, jesus, orlando blows carly. a scenic change, new people, new job!!!!, maybe meet a decent girl.....would be pretty amazing.

    well i hope you are doing amazing. you have the best job. tell them they should hire me. together, our superhuman sarcastic knowledge of reality tv will baffle the world. miss the old L word parties at your old apartment and pulse's gay karaoke. by the way, who really killed jenny. do you think they will make a L word movie, yeah,....probably not.

    ok talk about long time no talk. girl, i didn't know you live in ny now. so i was watching the L word finale, then watched the brief segment where they went on the streets to find out the opinions on who killed jenny... and guess who i saw... i was like that girl is SO SO familiar!!! i KNOW her!!! i but not sure from where... then... i remembered. wow.

    Hello Beautiful! Long time no talk. Sorry I couldnt make it up to Orlando when you were passing through. Week days are a killer for me. Anyway I'd love to come up soon and hang out with everyone.
