    But Jesus knew what the man was all about, "Why you trying to play me? He asked, "Toss me that chedder so I can peep that." They hooked him up, and he asked, " Whose name and head shot is up on this piece? "Ceasar's", they replied.


    Then Jesus said to them, "Give up to Caeser what be Ceaser's and to God what be God's.

    One day a friend and I decided to go to lunch. While waiting for the buffet to open I walked outside with him so he could have a smoke. After a few minutes a waitress joined us outside.


    As they smoked they began to discuss quiting. "I am going to do it on...I am going to try this...This is my last pack." I spoke up,"When you want to quit you will take that pack of cigarettes in your hand, crumble all that remain and toss them in the trash!" They were in shock.


    My friend explained, " He is really deep." The waitress replied, "A little to deep." I explained that they were only kidding themselves. They knew that they did not really want to quit. They were just making exuses for staying on the same path.


    In order for change to happen you have to want it to happen. You need to stop making exuses.
    Above all, you must change now!

    I was not being deep at all. All I did was see their converstion for what it really was. They were unwittingly lying to themselves in order to justify what they were doing. Both were ashamed of being smokers and were covering that feeling up by stating that they wanted to quit.
