--Historie kapely Hypnotix zacíná v prazské ctvrti Nusle v Ceské republice. Dva zakládající clenové, manzelé Michal a Milada Ditrichovi, kterí dosud hráli v ruzných prazských kapelách se pri poslechu svých oblíbených vinylových desek domluvili na zalození spolecného projektu. Zásadní inspiracní vliv na jeho vznik meli jazzový saxofonista Jan Garbarek, bubeník Stewart Copelant, nigerijský orchestr King Sunny Adeho a skupina Shakti Johna McLaughlina. Psal se rok 1988.
Základní ideou nove vzniklého projektu byla od jeho pocátku fuze transformovaných hypnotických rytmu a paternu s jazzovou a rockovou improvizací hudebníku.Tato v té dobe jamsessionová parta znela o to zajímaveji, ze frotmanem souboru byl vzdy umelec pocházející ze zeme mimo vliv angloamerické kultury. Dlouholetým spolupracovníkem Hypnotix byl dub- poet a tanecník ze Senegalu Bourama Badji, se kterým má skupina na konte 5 alb vydaných u berlínské firmy African Dance Records a nekolik koncertních turné po celé Evrope, vcetne festivalu jako dánského Roskilde, belgického Sfinx nebo nemeckých Summerjam a Chiemsee... Od roku 2001 se datuje spolupráce s Bengálským zpevákem Mohsinem Mortabou, který pro--el klasickým studiem indických zpeváku. Na rozdíl od drívej--ích prevládajících afrických a dubových vlivu, priná--í Mohsin orientální melodické linky indického subkontinentu.Po príprave a selekci nového materiálu prichází produkcní tým Hypnotix v roce 2003 s novým CD Bagua. Vydávají jej zároven Xrecords v Cechách a Barraka el Farnatschi Basel pro EU distribuci. Na albu naleznete prevá--ne vlastní Mohsinovy písne,vyjímku tvorí lidová O Amar Daradi a song bengálského filosofa ze 17. století Lalon Fakira, Manab Janam.
Vedle Mohsina Mortaby a jeho bengálských melodických linek se na CD objevuje také hlas MC Stricly Orange. MC Strictly je známou osobností Ceské klubové scény, jako MC spolupracoval s radou predních DJ..s a tanecních kapel / Skyline /. Stejne jako v instrumentální slo--ce jsou zvuky etnických nástroju kombinovány se zlámanými beaty a jinými atributy moderní tanecní hudby, vytvárí rap Strictlyho Orange protiváhu k bengálským melodiím.
Pro rok 2005 pricházejí Hypnotix s dalsím kompletne novým projektem:
"Where the Spirit Lives". Hlavním protagonistou a frontmanem se stává zpevák a specialista na africké rytmy Ego. L. Din, dalsím novým clenem skupiny je kytarista
Vláda Keicher, který prichází do Hypnotix z klubové party Space Junkie.
Ego. L. Din se na ceské klubové scéne objevil nejprve jako trumpetista, perkusista a zpevák ve skupinách Dunumba, Hermakouti a Naceva.V rijnu 2004 vydává skupina Nana Zorin album "Do U Want To Live Forever", kde se predstavil jako sólový zpevák a frontman.

Dal--í Dinovou aktivitou je akustická kapela TiDiTade - "africké bubny a tance".
V novém projektu Hypnotixu je Ego. L. Din integrován nejen jako zpevák, ale také jako specialista na západoafrické rytmy. Skupina se tak vrací ke svým korenum z pocátku 90. let, kdy transformace afrických rytmu do moderní tanecní hudby byla jedním z hlavních zdroju inspirace.

The last hypnotix project will be prepared for 2006 with well known singer and west african drummer specialist ego. l. din / nana zorin , tiditade /. together with new guitarist kei from prague club band space junkie , totally new music material will be composed and programmed in hypnotix recording studio bubny for the cd where the spirit lives . will be released in march 2006 by popron music.cz.
