Formed sometime in the mid 1990's by Jonathan Vincent, Hypodermic is an industrial/electro group from the Motor City. Having opened for an eclectic assortment of bands such as Mushroomhead, Crossbreed, Wednesday 13, and Cruciform Injection, Hypodermic is prepared for the new movement of underground music.
Why no drummer? Simply put, Hypodermic wants to explore the technological aspects of aural assault, while keeping the live instrumentation alive. The musical world is full of possibilities, and keeping the analog alive with the digital is what fuels Hypodermic's creativity.
In early 2007, Otto left the band to pursue other ventures. Currently, the band is searching for a new keyboard player/programmer, yet will not let this setback keep them from the one thing that keeps them together, the music.
With two releases and songs on numerous compilation discs, Hypodermic is preparing for their second full length album in early 2007.
