bio:
hypoetical's signature sound is both entirely unique to hiphop and to put it simply, "organic." his gear consists of a spatula that's hit against a paint bucket for kick drums, a fork and spoon rubber banded together that act as high hats, two college standard rulers slapped together to form his authentic "snap happy" snares, and a bowling ball submerged into his bath tub (eq'd and low pass filtered) to form sonically soothing bass lines.
part-time emcee, full-time producer, uprooted from the wastelands of silicon valley. on another galaxy on his good days. hypoetical does not engage in the ongoing hiphop popularity contest. his compositions root from spontaneity and glitches in the routine. so don't expect an album every year.
his aim, to create without boundaries in his own time & space, welcoming anyone who chooses to listen. hypoetical takes the "-" out of hiphop. and he's also one hemisphere of the mind mechanics crew (the other being the almighty memphis reigns).
