Hyske (pronounced High-sk) has been described as darlkly poetic, intriguing and one of the most unique and exciting females to emerge out of Australia's folk drenched music scene. Australian born Saara Jarvinen from Sydney is following in her Finnish footsteps, injecting Finlands melancholia and peculiarity into a gothic tinged electro-acoustic web of futuristic and earthly delights.
Hyske has performed live at Sydney's Surry Hills Festival, Earthdance, The Vanguard, The Wesley Ann (Melbourne), The Troubadour (Brisbane), The Annandale Hotel, The Lansdowne Hotel and have shared the stage with some of Australia's best bands including 'Angus and Julia Stone'
