The andorrans Hysteriofunk are determined to make clear that in the country of the Pyrenees there are much more than idyllic places and streets full of stores. Under the snow-covered landscape of valleys of Andorra, a band that is placed outside certain stylistic currents, without great direct outer influences hides, and that do not follow the landlords of any concrete present scene. Because in Hysteriofunk there is rock and free jazz, funk and psicodelia, experimentation and electronics, groove and abstraction. But in an exquisite process of musical alchemy, Hysteriofunk accurately defines an own way, that step appointment several referring previous ones (of King Crimson to Jamiroquai, of Machine Soft to Orbital, Kraftwerk to Gong or Brand X), to agglutinate them in personal, fresh, innovating and vanguardist sound. An incontestable musical wealth, with developments of great dynamism, an extraordinarily agile rythmical section, keyboards and guitars that make an intelligent and bold use of the technology, everything flavored with drops of a subtle and particular humor. And a masters in the construction of evocative melodies, that transport to us little by concurred and strange ways, ironic, melancholic, but always disquieting and sometimes captivating. In the 2006 they present live its second work, Juanjo, engraving in the studies Grabaciones Silvestres of Marc Parrot, co-producer of the disc, and published at the end of 2005 by the company Disconforme. 10 instrumental themes, recorded in a magnetic tape and avoiding the contact with the digital technology, instruments vintage like a Rhodes Eighty Eight, a ARP Axxe of the 76, or sinthesizers of guitar Roland GR700. The songs of Juanjo, equipped with a strange hypnotic and addictive force, not only draw fascinating landscapes and sonorous scenes, but they cross also them they cross and them with determination, taking to the listener of trip through them. Year 2007, they decide to begin to elaborate new subjects to remake the repertoire completely, and they close all the year in the study where they try and they create the new compositions. Even so they do not stop doing concerts by Catalan geography and Andorra, opening for the French band Sinclair. Year 2008 they publish Directe, his third disc, they present it in the Festa Major del Cap del Carrer, TestaRock Festival. The 7 of August present the new material composed in the Festival Colors de Música.

Sota el paisatge nevat de les valls dAndorra, s'amaga una banda que es situa fora de corrents estilístics determinats, sense grans influències exteriors directes, i que no segueix els patrons de cap escena actual concreta. Perquè a Hysteriofunk hi ha rock i free jazz, funk i psicodèlia, experimentació i electrònica, groove i abstracció. Però en un exquisit procés dalquímia musical, els Hysteriofunk defineixen amb precisió un camí propi, que cita de passada diversos referents anteriors (de King Crimson a Jamiroquai, de Soft Machine a Orbital, de Kraftwerk a Gong o Brand X), per aglutinar-los en un so personal, fresc, innovador i avanguardista.

Una riquesa musical incontestable, amb desenvolupaments de gran dinamisme, una secció rítmica extraordinàriament àgil, teclats i guitarres que fan un ús intel.ligent i atrevit de la tecnologia, tot amanit amb unes gotes dun subtil i particular humor.
