Sounds LikeThe band is rooted in the old-time classic southern gospel traditions, but Rob Bowman's distinctive rock-tinged voice lends a contemporary feel to all of our music. Add to this the band's willingness to try new and different bluegrass variations on all kinds of songs, and you've got a mixture that is truly unique. At the Cross

   About I-55
Isaiah 55:12 tells us that “the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” It is in this spirit of joy and love for the Lord that I-55 was formed. For over two years, the band has performed their distinct style of bluegrass gospel to reach lost souls for Jesus as well as encourage their brothers and sisters in Christ. The group blends old-time harmonies with smooth melodies and uptempo banjo and mandolin picking to create music that will get every foot stomping, every hand clapping, and every voice singing along to spread the glory and wonder of God’s holy love. Love the new song! Betty did a great job with the lyrics and you guys did a great job with the rest. Sounds great for a first recording ever, Rob! I'm going to try to post it on my blog! Love you guys!

P.S. See if Betty can write some more inspired songs. I think she has a talent.

OK,
You've requested a Prayer
For Sound, so you can count
on a "Sound Prayer" from us.
It can be frustrating in
the studio and we'll soon be
doing that again ourselves.
So, Prayers For A Great
And Successful Recording
For All Of Us !

Hi I-55,
Thanks for stopping by our
Space and hope you heard
something you liked there.
Looking forward to hearing
some of your tunes here.
If you're having trouble
with it, just ask a teenager.
luckily I have three in
my family or we wouldn't
be up yet. Good luck.
