I know for me personally, so much of my life has been in extreme darkness, but I like to think that now I can be thankful for those times, recognize the lighter times and be more appreciative and thankful for them. Plus, I love dark art and music, so it's good to be able to pull from the dark moments in creativity! :)
I hope that whatever is going on with you, that you are able to use the darker times in your life towards something positive.

Regarding "Navigation", this is what I got via email on Saturday from my other partner in this: "On location for a TV shoot. It will be up as soon as I can get it." Who knows when that will be? Tomorrow? A week? It's out of my hands though and will be worth the wait; you know that better than most. :-)
We made it through the storm without significant incident, thankfully, just lost power for several hours. Everything here is nominal I suppose. Sorry to hear about your computer but glad you're otherwise well.

I think many times we question our initial ideas, thinking they suck or won't go the distance, but my Mother told me to write everything down, both good and bad. She said I can always crumple it up and throw it out!
I believe in many areas of our lives we can psyche ourselves out before we even get going...
Reading back on the blog about not existing to b/f. I just wanted to say, thanks for wanting to help. And yeah I guess I AM in denial. Emotional abuse is still abuse and it's wearing away at me.

I like it because whether we are talking about our domestic situations, community, country or world; the key is acceptance of that which makes us individuals.
I find these days I am looking for what makes us different. With all the paper-doll cut-outs, it's refreshing to meet unique people.I mean, I know it's nice to find like-minded spirits, but the goal shouldn't be to try to make others like ourselves.

Today is Anthony Hopkins birthday (he's been in so many amazing movies, check IMDB if you are unfamiliar with him) and I saw this quote from him;
"We are dying from overthinking. We are slowly killing ourselves by thinking about everything. Think. Think. Think. You can never trust the human mind anyway. It's a death trap."
I've been trying to just keep the momentum going forward as opposed to giving too much thought to any one situation. I completely understand what he means. We can get caught up in our own thinking especially while lying in bed.
