I, Storm : Brooklyn resident Dave Masucci was a member of NYC's favorite funk band, THE AUTHORITY.

As a youngster, Dave was mentored by Altaneze Taylor & Dempsey Robinson of the BRIGHT MOMENTS MUSIC LOVERS CLUB in San Francisco; this organization (originally conceived by Rahsaan Roland Kirk) awarded the young student with scholarship funding + featured he & some of his peers alongside Jazz legends In-Concert.
Under the guidance of LaRue Brown-Watson, Masucci toured with THE JAZZ HERITAGE FOUNDATION of Los Angeles, CA. captivating audiences in Amsterdam & Germany
His band IT girl! has grooved NYC crowds since the 90's. Originally,
this outfit's approach was completely improvisational. Among fellow "groove" bands,
IT girl! is now considered an idiomatic hybrid of sorts, combining both DJ & Studio culture with the essence of live jamming & vocalization. Their blend of worldly styles contribute largely to this innovative venture; with one LIVE set, the listener is taken on a trip around the globe. Fused with their strong political/social stance, IT girl! introduces a unique holistic approach for the millennium.
