As well as having been a member of the Peatbog Faeries since 1995, drummer Iain has played with most of the leading lights on the Scottish jazz scene and for 8 years ran Glasgow's only regular jazz venue.
He has appeared on many albums including New Celeste, Catriona McKay, La Boum, Highland Games, and many comtemporary artists on the Celtic/Trad scene and has even appeared on a b-side for Scottish band BIS!
Currently working on many new album projects in his studio on Skye, Iain has various writing and performance projects in the pipeline, these include working with Adam Sutherland on his project 'No More Cages' and involvement with tromboniist Rick Taylor in his solo project.
Look out for the forthcoming release from his collaboration with Skye based musician Seumas MacLennan entitled 'Spaghetti Headz'
Iain is also touring with Charlie McKerron's Session A9 and is involved in a variety of jazz based projects in Glasgow and Edinburgh
Iains own record label Phat Controller Producions has recently had its 2nd record release with a further 3 planned before the end of the year.
