16 Year Olds Now Eligible To Donate Blood!
Beginning August 15, 2006, 16-year-old students will be able to donate blood with their parents’ consent. All eligible donors must have a signed permission slip from their parents prior to each and every donation.

If everything goes according to plan, I get to give blood on Saturday. AND I'M SO EXCITED. It'll be my second time. [: I'm practically counting down the hours. Haha.
TODAY I did my FIRST PLATELETS Donation! being A- & a Donor since age l8yrs(i'm 53 now)was only a LITTLE time consuming(2hr length) HOWEVER I did watch a Movie(Wedding Crashers) I had NO discomfort and FELT I HELPED somebody who is ILL & NEEDS this! Donating Blood is SO REWARDING :) Keep being a Productive MySpace it is WONDERFUL :)) ^j^ (FBS Telerecruiter & LOVE MY JOB!!)
When is the date for the Ridgewood donation drive? Someone called me from Florida Blood Services but I can not remember the day I told them I would donate.
I've donated every chance i've gotten! I love it! It takes no time... and theirs a greater reward... a win win situation.. you save someone's life. Happy thanksgiving!!!
