There are far to many to list.
Out from the dark comes one of folks strongest talents, Barry Patrick. Drawing on inspiration in all genre's from Johnny Cash to Ryan Adams and Oasis to The Strokes, his full-bodied room-filling songs entice and excite. Not afraid to address some of todays less fashionable subjects, his passion and poetic dialogue create an interesting mix of goose-bump ballads and gritty rockabilly jaunts.
Always out to shock and impress, Barry Patrick chose to record his debut EP in one take. His beautiful Hofner guitar, belting through an old Vox valve amp, create his 50's sound, which has become his trademark. Listen carefully to his amazing ballad 'Its in Your Heart' and you can pick out the pops and crackles of a track without the latest polishing-up process used in modern studios.
Producer Fred Lagergren of Liberty Hall, was left astounded by the confidence and audacity as Barry demanded the tracks were left untouched and recorded from beginning to end without any re-takes or cuts. I have now uploaded two track to my page. "Lost in the Woods" is an exploration of light and darkness and "Bloody Bullets" is based on a true story. I would love to get your experienced opinion.
